Testimonial! When I first saw those Tooth Chips I was fairly new to Etsy and I saw them in the Newly Listed items on the Buy page. I hearted them but was very very skeptical; the "natural" health movement has been rampant here for years and years, and in my own experience I have found most of those claims to be ridiculous and often false. These "natural" products were always a huge disappointment.
Then, I saw testimonials in the Forums about how well the Tooth Chips worked. Two long threads of numerous Etsyians RAVING about them. So I thought about them again....
When I was small my mother was told to give me 8 drops of fluoride A DAY! because that was the protocol of the time. I have dental fluorosis as a result; my teeth are stained and spotted, they are brittle and cracked and some are broken, and they are sooooooo sensitive that I have been unable to eat most foods comfortably. Most stuff I avoided altogether. And don't get me started about the receding gums. THIS was the state of my dental health when I decided to try your chips. I don't mind telling you that I was very scared to try them. What if they made me WORSE??
After three days of using them 2 times daily I was very surprised to find myself chewing pizza, crust and all, without being delicate about it! I was shocked but I kind of chalked it up to the placebo effect.
Then, I found I could have a spoonful of yummy local honey -- WITH NO PAIN!!! Imagine! I've avoided honey for years because of the pain it caused my teeth! So, it went on like this for a week, me thinking STILL that it must be a placebo thing, meanwhile I'm enjoying foods I haven't had in ages without weeping.
After a week my mother said, How come your teeth look so good? They're whiter than they've ever been! So I told her about your amazing product.
I'm seriously shocked, amazed, and eternally grateful that I can eat comfortably now, I can breathe through my mouth if I have to without hurting my teeth, and I can look forward to an old age with my own teeth, most likely!! You have no idea. Your gift is a Godsend to people like me. "Thank you" doesn't begin to cover it but that's all I can think to say.

Thanks for sending the tooth chips to me sooo quickly. I tried them the minute I received them, and it was a very interesting experience. I had expected a much stronger taste of soap, and was very pleasantly surprised that it was so mellow. And when I stopped to think about the strong, often overpowering taste and after-taste of commercial toothpaste, it helped to put a little perspective around trying something new. Commercail toothpaste, even after rinsing thoroughly, corrupts the taste of anything I may eat or drink for at least an hour after brushing, whereas your tooth chips left a mellow, clean feeling, and very little aftertaste at all. The orange/cinnamon flavor is subtle, and the sudsing is significant. What was most interesting was the impact on my mouth. My tongue was irritated from all the sugary holiday treats, and when I used your tooth chips, the sensation of irritation was drastically reduced. It typically takes 3-4 days of eating bland food and salt-water rinses to resolve this, so I was very impressed with the results of using your product. Can't wait to get my other samplers so I can check out other flavors.

On the subject of Tooth Chips, i have been using your product for about two years now. I recently had an appointment with my new dental hygienist, who was amazed with how healthy my teeth and gums are. Most notable was her comment, "Oh, i can tell somebody's been flossing!"
Though i don't like to admit it, i am one of the millions who do not floss regularly. It was with a heavy dose of shame that i told her the credit goes completely to your wonderful product. While i do not advise others to neglect oral hygiene, it is nice to know that even those of us who are lax in our routine can see a benefit from making the switch to Tooth Chips.....Rabbit!
I live in Trinidad in the Caribbean & I tried your toothchips for the first time a few weeks ago, I had them shipped to me via my 'skybox' in Miami, fl. I have to say it is the first time in my life that I feel that my teeth are clean! I also could not believe how easy it was to get my 3 children to brush with the toothchips. My husband & I will be in Florida next weekend for a few days so I had to take the opportunity to order some more, I also will give a tin to my mother & also one to my sister as I am sure they will love it as much as I do.

Great news from a new tooth chip user! I had only been using my new tooth chips for 3 weeks, and my appointment came up to get my teeth cleaned. I was a little timid about it, since I had used the tooth chips exclusively for the last 3 weeks. But my fears were all unfounded because I got a wonderful report. My hygienist has been cleaning my teeth for 10 years, and has seen the results of my various efforts to keep my teeth clean. I had tried different flouride-free toothpastes, herbal toothpastes, herbal mouth rinses, and electric toothbrushes. Every visit was about the same, with tartar built up behind my bottom teeth, and on my back teeth. I was always instructed to brush more in those spots, even though I was brushing every meal. I had also developed a very sensitive tooth area that wouldn't go away.
This time was very different! Sandra looked at my teeth and was almost speechless. She told me that I had very little tartar anywhere in my mouth, and that she didn't even need to use the sonic cleaner this time. I have never used the tooth chips before, but had never been threatened with the "soap in mouth" treatment, either. So I tried it because of the favorable testimonials on your website. They were all right! I loved the taste of the orange as well as the spearmint samples. You did a great job of flavoring the chips, with just a touch of orange, and of spearmint. I did appreciate the goat milk soap, and the lack of perfume fragrance. It is so hard to find things that are free of chemicals and strong smells these days. I ordered your xylitol tooth chips and just got them on Saturday. I want to say that even though at first I thought the stuff was exorbitantly priced-- 12+ bucks (with shipping) for such a little tin!-- I think its worth it now, with just a few days of using it. First, I find that I have to use only half a shred, and that lathers up good enough. I can see it lasting a while. The taste does take a bit getting used to, I mean it is a little 'soapy,' but it's not at all unpleasant. I prefer it to toothpaste, actually. Toothpaste always burned my mouth, with what I can only assume to be all the chemicals and over the top amounts of flavoring to compensate. This is refreshingly mild, with just a hint of peppermint. It's yummy.
But here's the thing... in just several days of using this, it did something toothpaste never did-- My gums stopped bleeding and a small lesion that had been forming on the gumline of a tooth is going away. This makes your product priceless to me. But you know what prompted me to write an early email? I woke up with no morning breath! I remember that when I brushed my teeth with regular toothpaste at night, I would wake up with this horrible taste in my mouth, and a rough film on my teeth. Gross, right? But my mouth feels so clean right now. Hmm, I guess I won't be needing my toothpaste anymore :)

No more morning mouth! Does life get any better than that?!
I've been using tooth "soap" for about 6 months and LOVE the results it gives me, even my dentist noticed a difference! But she still wanted me to use a flouride mouthwash to get some flouride on my teeth, and I said no way! I am against flouride and feel it does more harm than good.

I can't say enough good about this product! I highly encourage anyone with hyper sensitive teeth to try this stuff. Before finding the tooth chips I had tried every "sensitivity" tooth paste from the store, even the prescription Prevident from the dentist. None of those helped one bit. But, now that I've been using the tooth chips for a few months the sensitivity is BARELY there. I will never go back to regular tooth paste again.
I hope this doesn't sound like a cheesey infomercial, but I'm truly amazed at the difference these have made in my teeth.

Wow ... where do I begin? First of all, great customer service and very fast shipping! As for the tooth soap ... well, it's definitely SOAP. Once you get past the flavour (it gets subtler as you get used to it, I promise), this is pretty awesome stuff! My teeth definitely feel cleaner and shinier after using it, and I'd be willing to bet my dentist will notice a difference. I think my toofers are even getting a little whiter! Cool stuff, these tooth chips!

This stuff is AWESOME! Firstly I was excited to see the no-neem version. Secondly, really fast shipping. I JUST got my package in the mail and had to try it out right away! I didn't think it tasted soapy at all. I loved the way it lathered up. I am so not into flouride, and I've tried the store-bought 'natural' toothpastes without much success (they taste gross and don't seem to clean very well. Plus, even the natural toothpastes have flouride! yuck!) So I've been using the baking soda toothpastes which seem to clean well but are really harsh on my gums. Sometimes my gums even feel irritated after brushing. With the tooth chips, I was able to brush and brush as long as I pleased and my gums were not irritated, in fact it made them feel really good and soothed! I am so glad I found this. Mmmm they taste so good! Feels clean after brushing. May take a few try to get use to, but you should try it! I took a look at the toothpaste that I'm using at a health food store and it has SLS, and it's not good! I will use tooth chips from now on and never go back :)

Not the expected "soapy" taste at all! Teeth feel cleaner after a single use AND, to our amazement, first thing in the morning, and all throughout the day. We simply cannot say that for *any* commercial products.
I love what you have provided to us. We have been using the big names (Colgate, Crest, even Tom's of Maine) forever and yours is the first tooth-cleaning product that has ever felt like it WORKS.
